It has been about a month since I got my finger injured and this past weekend I was finally able to get on some bouldering at Joe’s Valley, Utah.  We drove there to meet up with some friends I used to climb with at the Philadelphia Rock Gym.  The weather was really hot but we still managed to do some climbing in the shade.  The first day we got on some cool warm ups and then we did Stompin Hippies a V7. After that we headed to Worst Case Scenario V9 which I was able to send after some hard tries on it. This was a surprise since I had not bouldered in about a month.  Towards the end of the day we got on Big Joe V7 and I think we all did that pretty quick.

The next day Issac and I were only climbing, since most of the people had no skin and energy left. We got on The Hulk V9 but this was soooo difficult for both of us. We got pretty shut down on it so we tried the problem right above the hulk boulder, it is called Dirty Harry and it is a V8.  I tried very hard for the flash and shortly after that Isaac sent it as well.  It was amazing being at Joe’s Valley for a first time and it is exciting to go back there next month when it is a bit cooler.  Here are some photos, I didn’t spend much time this trip taking pictures but I will next one.
